Founder.tn is a directory of Tunisian startups, run by Seif Amara in Tunisia. For anything about your data, write to contact@founder.tn.
Your account: email address, name, username, profile photo, bio, location and the social links you choose to add. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from Google.
What you publish: the startups you list (name, description, logo, links), your votes, comments and follows. Your profile, your startups and your comments are public.
Sponsor purchases: the plan you bought, its dates and its payment status. Card payments are handled by our payment provider DHMAD; we never see or store your card details.
Usage data: pages visited, the device and browser used, and an approximate location from your IP address, to understand how the site is used and to protect it against abuse (for example spam votes).
To run your account and show what you publish; to count votes and rankings fairly; to process and confirm sponsor purchases; to send account emails (sign-in links, payment and sponsor updates); to send news and offers about Founder.tn, which you can stop at any time; and to keep the platform secure.
We use cookies to keep you signed in. We also store a random anonymous identifier in your browser to measure visits (with PostHog) and to remember things like whether you already watched our launch video. We don't use advertising cookies and we don't sell your data.
We use trusted providers that only process data to deliver their service to us: Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (image and video storage), Brevo (sending emails), PostHog (visit statistics), DHMAD (payments) and Google (if you choose Google sign-in). Some of these providers store data outside Tunisia.
Every news or offer email has an unsubscribe link, and Gmail and Outlook show their own unsubscribe button. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails; you will still receive emails about your account and your purchases.
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile and the content attached to it are removed. We may keep records of payments for as long as the law requires.
Under Tunisian law (Organic Law No. 2004-63 on the protection of personal data) you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, and object to its use for marketing. You can edit your profile and delete your account yourself from Dashboard Settings, or write to contact@founder.tn and we will answer within 30 days.
If we change this policy in an important way, we will tell you on the site or by email. The date at the top shows the latest version.
